Follow the instructions below to find sytem and hardware information about your Windows 8 PC.
* We are using Windows 10 in the examples, so it will look slightly different from your Windows 8 system.
Processor (CPU), Memory (RAM), Storage, Graphics Card (GPU)

1. Open “Task Manager”
– Keyboard shortcut: “Ctrl” + “Shift” + “Esc”
2. Click “More details” (bottom left corner of window)
* If it says “Fewer details” then move on to instruction “3.“
3. Select the “Performance” tab
4. You will then see a navigation pane on the left where you can find information for the following:
– CPU (Processor)
– Memory (RAM)
– Disk # (Storage)
– GPU (Graphics Card)
CPU (Processor):

Memory (RAM):

Disk # (Storage):

GPU (Graphics Card):

Windows Version

1. Keyboard shortcut: “win” + “r”.
2. Type “winver” (without the quotes).
3. Click “OK” – this will open a new window.
This will show the Windows version and build information.

Motherboard

1. Keyboard shortcut: “win” + “r”.
2. Type “msinfo32” (without the quotes).
3. Click “OK” – this will open a new window.
4. Find the motherboard model information.
– Look at the “BaseBoard Product” row.
